“Made for parents, by parents”
Ever since Day 1, we’ve had this phrase “Made for parents, by parents” on our website’s “About Us” section. When we first wrote those words, the “by parents” part was meant to show that the tiny team behind No Reception Club were parents who have walked / traveled in your shoes (and still are!). We’ve been there, and we were just as frustrated about the solutions available… and we wanted to change that for parents like ourselves.
Fast forward to now and the “by parents” part of this phrase is no longer referring to our little team — it now includes our incredible Clubhouse community of over 10,000 parents! Our products are not just simply a reflection of the lived experiences of a small group, but the collective experiences of thousands of parents in this community.
Specifically, we read every word you write to us - reviews, DMs, and emails. And we jot down, discuss, and obsess over things in our continuously evolving “product ideas list”. Last year, we launched V2 of the Getaway Bag with many improvements (we actually got to see one of our OG Kickstarter bags out in the wild this past week and were filled with joy!).
This year, we’re happy to release V2 of the Sidekick. Based on all the feedback we’ve been receiving for the last couple years, we knew that there were opportunities to improve the internal organization of the Sidekick (after all, organization is what we obsess over!). Here’s everything that we’ve updated for V2:
- Internal zippered mesh pocket along inner back wall for small essentials (e.g. phone, credit cards, etc.)
- Internal stretch mesh pocket along inner front wall for small diaper changing essentials (e.g. diaper cream)
- Internal key clip for easily securing your keys
- External D-ring for attaching items with a carabiner (e.g. children’s water bottle, hand sanitizer)
- ICYMI: The Extender for the Sidekick is Now Available to order! Our recently launched Extender accessory enables the Sidekick waist strap to be extended by up to 15”
