FAQs

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States and Canada (excl. Quebec). We are so grateful for all of the individuals living outside the US and Canada for their interest in our business and our bags, but right now as a small business, we do not have the resources to support international shipping at this time. The good news: We have plans to test international shipping in March 2024. To be notified when this happens, please join our Facebook group here! Thank you for your understanding as we work through this new challenge as a small business.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Average order times (standard economy shipping)*

On average, orders will take approximately 5 to 8 business days to arrive after they’re placed (3 business days if you're located in CA, WA, OR or NV). Expedited shipping options are available to shorten the in transit/shipping times.

Returns

What is the return policy?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after ordering your item to request a return. Learn more here.

How does the lifetime warranty work?

It's our mission to make the best things. Not good, not great, but literally the best products in their respective categories. It is also our mission to not create any unnecessary waste. That is why No Reception Club products come with a no-hassle, no-rhetoric lifetime guarantee. When you spend your hard-earned money on our gear, you can do so knowing it will remain fully-functional and defect-free. Learn more here.

Cleaning

What's the best way to clean my bag?

To clean your bag, we highly recommend wiping the surface clean with a damp cloth (ideally a microfiber cloth, but a small towel or washcloth will usually work) using warm water. Mild non-bleach liquid detergent or soap combined with warm water can also be used to wipe the surface.

NOTE: Never use paper towels, tissues, napkins, or diaper wipes to clean your bag — the fibers will break apart across the fabric.

How do I get rid of stains?

For stains, we recommend spot treating each stain individually, as soon as possible for the most success. Ideally use a microfiber cloth for spot stain removal, though a small towel or washcloth will usually work well. We recommend trying ONE of the below methods:

A. Applying a very damp cloth with warm water will often do the trick!

B. Applying a fabric stain remover, though we cannot vouch for all of them, works on most stains. We have personally had a lot of success with SHOUT Wipes (portable stain removal towelettes), especially when removing stains on the Sea Glass Green bags caused after extensive use.

C. Combining a small bowl of warm water and with a few drops of dish soap (e.g. Sunlight or Dawn) is another good option for most stains. Simply dip a cloth or clean toothbrush into the solution and then gently scrub the stain.

Is the bag machine washable?

You can machine wash your bag in cold water on gentle cycle, with non-bleach detergent — though we do not recommend doing this frequently due to the potential impact on the leather trim (e.g. only after a major spill). Before machine washing, make sure to REMOVE the two internal velcroed-in shelves so they do not become misshapen from the tumbling motion in the washing machine (but feel free include them in the machine outside of the bag). Open all zippers. Wash the bag on its own, not with a full load of clothes. Lay flat or hang to air dry. The lunch box can also be thrown in the laundry, unzipped -- please also lay flat to dry. Lastly, do not put other objects (clothing, towels, etc.) when running this cycle.

What should I avoid?

  1. Never use paper towels, tissues, napkins, or diaper wipes to clean your bag — the fibers will break apart across the fabric.
  2. For any bags with leather trim (especially if the leather is NOT black), there is risk of water or soap permanently changing the coloration and texture of the leather as is the nature with most real leathers.
  3. We have not tested all soaps or detergents, but have tested the major brands; if you are unsure of your soap/detergent, try it on a small section of the bag before applying it to the entire thing.
  4. Always lay flat or hang to air dry. Never tumble dry.
  5. You can hand wash your bag using a mild non-bleach detergent and cold water — though we do not recommend doing this frequently due to the potential impact on the leather trim (e.g. only after a major spill). Always lay flat or hang to air dry.
