The Getaway Bag

This bag is truly the best and I wish I knew about it earlier. I used it for the first time this past week, and it kept everything so organized with easy access. In the photo, the top compartment had a spare change of clothes for my child and all of our toiletries for my husband, my child and myself, along with some snacks. The middle compartment had her toys and headphones, and the bottom compartment held her travel car seat vest (ride safer). I was actually a bit surprised it fit the car seat vest. In the side compartment I had a full pack of wipes and a zip up sweater for myself and my child (the thin uniqlo airisms). In the back compartment I had books and a tablet. In the front compartment I had my kobo reader and external battery, in the hidden compartment all our passports and more, the top compartment had my sunglasses, airpods, charger, and other misc items. Even with everything listed, there were still room to spare! Going through inspection at the airport was easy because you have easy access to everything; and with my child asking for different things every so often, it made travel that much more stress free. Needless to say I only have good things to say about this bag. Bonus that my husband loves it too!

This is such a well thought out bag that I have used it as a complete personal item bag as well. I’m waiting for the sliders to come back in stock, as the cubelets I currently have do not fit well or leave odd spacing. Each section and access point allows for quick and easy retrieval without disturbing something else. Another important point for me are the straps . They are not obnoxiously large for the average person and the feel comfortable on the shoulders for an extended period of time.

This bag makes flying with a baby so much easier. It helped me organize and determine what I really needed to bring in the flight, and it was so helpful to be able to grab things quickly from the separate compartments when I needed it instead of digging through an entire bag. The diaper pack also made changing the diaper on the airplane really simple. I just wish there was a colored zipper or something to differentiate the side that holds the diaper pack from the side that has the three compartments, so I went ahead and added a little ribbon so I could quickly get the side I needed in a pinch!

love the ability to organize and holds so much! I just wish there were more posts about how to best organize and utilize all the great spaces.
