The Getaway Bag

After 20+ flights without The Getaway, our first flight with it was significantly better! This bag truly is a game changer. The organization possibilities are endless, the pockets are plentiful and thoughtfully placed, every zipper and pull is high-quality, it fits both my 5’1” frame and my husband’s 5’9” frame comfortably, AND the weight distribution is awesome. We fit exponentially more snacks, toys, and other 1-year-old essentials than ever possible in our normal diaper bag, and it is all so accessible. I was so excited to use this bag and am so happy I spent the money to buy myself (I mean, the baby, wink wink) a truly high-quality, made-by-parents bag that will make the next 20, 40, even 100+ flights without our little one so much more enjoyable and manageable.

As a mom of two, this bag has been a total game changer — it’s thoughtfully designed, super functional, and makes staying organized on the go so easy. The quality is amazing, and every detail feels intentional and parent-friendly.

A huge thank you to the team for their incredible customer service — they went above and beyond by sending me two extra items when Canada post failed us. It was such a thoughtful surprise! It’s rare to find a company that truly cares about their customers like this.

Love this bag because of its compartmentalization, but it’s also very nice looking. Very comfortable to wear and easy for mom and dad to find things no matter who packed. I would suggest a bigger “window” section to unzip into the main compartment so that it’s easier to access items on the top and bottom shelves. The toggle on the drawstring on the top part of the bag is also hard to slide up and down, maybe a plastic one would be better?

I’m from the Philippines, and it was absolutely worth it to have this bag shipped internationally.

Super useful! From a 21-hour transit (Manila → Milan) to hiking in the Dolomites and exploring the city. Lightweight yet super spacious, it fits everything we need for our travels. Truly a well-thought-out bag designed by parents who love to travel!
