The Hideaway Carry-On Duffel

Impressed is an understatement for the Hideaway. We have been on 1 international and 8 domestic flights with our now 7mo old and this luggage has made travel a breeze. The organizational compartments are thoughtfully designed with nothing lacking. The majority of or travel comprised of of multi-night stay where we unpacked and packed after two nights to move to a different location, and this duffle stood up.

A few things: 1. having a laundry sac and seperate place to put dirties is a convenience I didn’t know I needed. On our international trip especially, it made doing laundry on the go quick and convenient. Also, I found this out too late (maybe others are different), but on long trips where washing wasn’t an option, at the end of the journey, I loved collapsing the internal storage dividers to stuff the packed laundry sac into the main compartment for home washing. 2. The structured compartments are amazing for organization with tiny clothes and great for protection when tossing a baby monitor and camera in the mix. They make pack and re-pack a breeze. 3. The front cooler is sleeve is genius, and turns this into a bag we can use for day trips, so we can ditch a diaper bag to consolidate space. 4. Love that the diaper sling can fit perfectly into the lower zip compartment below the cooler. Amazingly handy for quick changes! 5. The customer service is stand up! I recently bit the bullet and ordered the Hideaway Duffel. I had been holding back for months and months because I had considered this bag to be more of a splurge than a necessity. Well, after using it on our recent family vacation with two toddlers, I deemed this bag as a necessity. What a game changer! Prior to using the Hideaway Duffel, we had been using packing cubes and compression bags, and packed them into a large suitcase and more. We had to fumble through multiple packing cubes and compression bags every time we needed an article of clothing or a completely new outfit for our little ones. (Note: We don’t fully unpack at hotels if we are hotel hopping or if there aren’t enough drawer/closet space.) The beauty of the Hideaway Duffel is that it eliminates the need for packing cubes and compression bags, and the need to fumble through them, and there’s no need to really unpack at your destination. For our recent family vacation - five nights, six days, two hotels, jam-packed with kids activities, we were able to pack for our two toddlers: 6 sets of PJs, 20 pairs of pants, 10 long-sleeve tops, 14 short-sleeve tops, 2 jackets, 20 pairs of socks, and 4 muslin blankets. Organizing was a breeze and it made packing less stressful. The internal compartment is collapsible, making this bag so versatile. We have family vacations lined up for each of the next six months and I am so glad we have the Hideaway Duffel as our travel companion. (Here’s a pic of my little helper unpacking…
