The Sidekick

I love love love love LOVE this bag. I have tried countless different brands of the similar fanny-pack/crossbody/shoulder sling style and this one is definitely the best. It checks all my boxes and I am so happy with it. Both pockets are big enough to fit 5+ diapers, a full sized packet of wipes, plus the changing mat it comes with. I also really appreciate the size of the changing mat, another added bonus! Thank you, No Reception Club🙏

We LOVE our sidekick and use it daily on dog walks and errands because you just never know. Usually, I’ll leave the getaway bag in my car (if just running in the grocery store or post office) but I bring the sidekick in with our current essentials… keys, phone, changing pad, one diaper, couple wipes, teething gel and a smal teether toy. It’s literally perfect and not to mention functions great with our Ergobaby 360 carrier in either front or back mode for both baby & sidekick. Fits with baby in the front or one on each side. I often wear my baby on my back with sidekick in front so I can easily access items. However, I can still easily access when baby is on my front and sidekick is on front. If not using our carrier then I wear it more as a sling.

While the sidekick usually fits no problem in the special pocket on the getaway bag, we have also clipped it on the front of the getaway bag (using the roller bag as the attachment point) when our getaway bag is packed to the brim or we just want easy access. I also clip the snack bag onto the front of the getaway bag using the handle of the snack bag and the top clips of the getaway bag as the anchor. This lets us pack SERIOUSLY everything and the kitchen sink!!!

I love the Getaway Bag in general, but to be honest, the Sidekick alone is very well worth it. If I can't convince you to get the Getaway bag, try the Sidekick!! LOVE this thing! For quick trips, I carry this alone! In my Sidekick, I always pack two to three diapers, butt wipes, diaper rash cream/ointment, individual baby hand sanitizing wipes and travel antibacterial wipes (to wipe down surfaces). With all that stuff, I still have room to put my wallet (which is flat/small, just holds three cards) and my cell phone. I even stuff a small toy in there if I think my daughter might need it! The Sidekick also comes with a changing table pad (which I also leave in there)! The Sidekick makes diaper changes so easy since everything you need is in there. When I go to the bathroom to change my daughter's diaper, I don't need to carry wipes and a diaper (or even dig through a bag for them), I just carry the Sidekick in!

I LOVE the Sidekick so much I bought 2! (One per kid). It's the perfect size for a mini bag to run to the doctor's office or something. The magnetic flap for wipe access is ingenious and makes it SO easy. Being able to just grab it and go, or easily put it into the Getaway bag, is so convenient and way easier than any other diaper bag we've had. I plan on using it long after we don't need diapers anymore, either - the sleek design makes it useful far beyond the baby days.

I was hesitant when buying this bag because I wasn’t sure if it was going to be too bulky but it looks amazing and looks like the perfect size!!!! Haven’t used it because we literally just received it in the mail but the quality and functionality looks amazing! Excited to put this baby to use for our 15 hour flight.
