This bag was perfect for an overnight stay in LA! We were able to fit my, my husband’s, and baby’s things in it. The convertible compartments are amazing because we were able to make them larger for our items, and smaller for baby’s. The matching diaper bag is also perfect for on-the-go. We love No Reception and this duffle bag hits all the marks!
As first time parents who travel routinely and rarely, if ever, check a bag, it was important for us to find a practical, multifunctional carry on bag for baby. This duffel does it all—it fit all of baby’s clothes and necessities, mom’s pumping parts, the slumber pod/fan/tent rods, a carrier, etc. for a week long trip (for which, by all accounts, we “overpacked”). The luggage sleeve allowed the duffel to easily slip onto dad’s carry on, while mom used the diaper bag sleeve (with her personal plane items, formula/breastmilk in Ceres chiller, baby accoutrement for in flight, etc.) atop her carry on. We’re already finding non-flight related uses for these items. This duffel plus diaper bag from NRC are pricey but a no brainer—you get what you pay for and the quality of these products mean we’ll be using them for a long time to come. Trust me (non-sponsored review); just snag it! This may be what we start gifting for baby showers now too. (Guava + YoYo/Nuna infant car seat + NRC is the ultimate combo.) Oh and for those with more the one child, my sister also travels with a 2.5yo and 8mo old using the NRC duffel, NRC diaper bag, a carry on, Nuna infant car seat, and Cosco scenara car seat.
I don’t think I’ve ever left a review for luggage in my life… this deserves it without hesitation. Just took it on a one month trip to Alaska. Used it as both our carry on/diaper bag in one… 2 kiddos (3 and 12mo). I debated this bag for a long time because of the price. Finally bought it… should have done it years ago with how much we travel. Great quality and construction, heavy materials and zippers, thoughtful construction with way more than I even knew it had before I purchased, and just hands down convenient… kept everything so organized. I know it’s for kids… but it was really a gift for myself in the end- ha ha! Love it! I see this as our new travel staple!
I've been packing for a week and a half trip to Spain and have a layover at Heathrow. I'm terrified of my checked bag getting lost midway so having the Hideaway has been amazing to told my couple days supplies of diapers and clothes for me and my son along with the big Flyaway bed for the long flight. This will be so much easier to get stuff out of mid flight compared to a small roller bag!
I never leave reviews, but HAVE to leave one for the hideaway. We just got back from a two week trip to Italy with our two year old. I packed absolutely everything for him in the hideaway with some room to spare. It wasn’t heavy, even after an overnight flight and rolling suitcases along those cobblestone Italian streets. The laundry compartment is amazing. I could go on and on, but if you’ve been on the fence about spending the money - I promise it is worth every penny.
